Montréal, January 19th 2016. - Muskies Canada’s Montreal Chapter announced the creation of the sub fund "Muskies Canada for Quebec" embedded in the Muskies Canada foundation. Muskies Canada can now issue receipts for tax purposes to donators. In the coming years, Muskies Canada and its chapters in Montreal and Quebec will make various fundraisers to contribute to the fund.
The money will partially finance a large study driven by the Québec Minister of Forestry, Wildlife and Parks on the state of muskellunge populations in Quebec’s water bodies. The study will target particularly the state of the muskellunge population in Lake Saint-Pierre and upstream sectors.
Joining Muskies Canada and participating in various events organized by the Montreal chapter will finance a study that will directly help the populations of muskellunge Quebec.
